Playing God

The time will come when parents will be able to freely choose the attributes of their children.  They could choose the child's hair color, eye color, gender, natural immunities, intelligence, charisma, ect.  This will spark a war between the Naturals and Genetically Enhanced.  The Naturals will despise those that choose to play God and see them as abominations that must be wiped out.  Those that are Genetically Enhanced will look down on the Naturals as inferiors and will place themselves higher on the evolutionary table.  This is the nature of humanity.  As the Emperor of the Empire of Thorns I will declare neutrality during this future conflict.  What the Naturals will refuse to realize is that everything one does can be considered an act of playing God.  Those that will be Genetically Enhanced, meanwhile, will fail to accept that they did not evolve but were created and that the Naturals are not their inferiors.  As Emperor, I will foster the belief that we are no different from one another and that if you choose not to get along, I will throw you in solitary confinement for the rest of your life.
